We all want the best clinical outcome for your patients. But not everything always goes according to plan. Patients may develop postoperative pain, aseptic loosening, or even a periprosthetic joint infection, and, last but not least, adverse reactions to the implanted material.
And even though THA has been declared the surgery of the century, complications after surgery may make additional treatments necessary. In some cases, the prosthesis even has to be revised. Eliminating CoCr components from the equation could reduce these risks and thus contribute to better care.
